If you’re thinking about creating your own theme, you may have come across Bootstrap and thought it would be a great framework to use for a theme.īootstrap was created by designers at Twitter (though not for use on the Twitter site, which is a common misconception). You already know WordPress, and why building a site around it is a reliable option. Both are designed to hide a lot of under-the-hood technical stuff beneath a user-friendly (more or less) interface or framework.īut they weren’t made to integrate with each other, so using Bootstrap isn’t as easy as installing a WordPress theme or plugin.
